From time to time I would like to share some of my favorite lovely little spots. During the early days of spring, I relish driving down Trenholm Road and seeing the colorful crop of tulips standing at attention in front of Trenholm Road United Methodist Church. Like me, you might have wondered who is responsible for these gorgeous blooms. After speaking with a friend who is a longtime member of the church, I learned that another faithful member lovingly called the “tulip lady” plants them each year. And like the Augusta azaleas before Masters Weekend the tulips reach their gorgeous peak by Easter weekend.
Little Lovely and I paid a visit to the tulips this afternoon. While Eloise was more interested in eating the jellybean hued petals than posing we did manage to get a few photos of her tiptoeing through the tulips in her bunny dress.
