I’m a day late, but yesterday was the birthday of the loveliest of them all, Audrey Hepburn. The definition of timeless style, simplistic elegance and coquettish charm, Audrey is an icon for the ages.
I’ve always admired her films and impeccable fashion sense, and I was excited to see that Turner Classic Movies had an Audrey marathon yesterday. Now the DVR is full of Hepburn classics to watch with my Little Lovely. Some of my favorites include: Roman Holiday, Sabrina, Funny Face, My Fair Lady and of course Breakfast at Tiffany’s. In fact, I think my sweet husband was forced to watch it on one of our first dates. Luckily, he also finds her quite charming.
