A birthday provides an opportunity for celebration and reflection. This is the first one I have experienced with Little Lovely, and spending the day with her is what I have wished for while blowing out candles for many years.
Eloise and I spent the afternoon visiting with friends and family. Then we had dinner with daddy before she helped me blow out my birthday candle. 
Also since Eloise is in awe of balloons we had some fun with these oversized numbers – she loved staring at and trying to grab them!
