The weather might not have been ideal to kick off summer, but it wasn’t a complete washout, and our family still had fun doing indoor and outdoor activities this Memorial Day weekend.
We attended an “indoor pool party” to start the weekend.
Recently, Eloise has taken a liking to Beauty and the Beast (mommy’s favorite Disney classic), so I was excited to see that The Columbia Marionette Theater was performing it Saturday morning. The audience was full of small children, and Eloise enjoyed the calm story and lively puppets.
We headed out to the ballgame that evening to watch the Columbia Fireflies and participate in the Harry Potter themed night complete with magical face painting and Butterbeer.
To our delight, the sun was shining Sunday morning, so we put on our bathing suits and set out to the pool.
Today, on the other hand, was mostly spent watching movies, playing dress up and snuggling on the couch- pretty much the perfect day.
When the sun does come back, I’m looking forward to wearing some of these lovely little suits below.
