Our summer began with a trip to Sea Island, Georgia, so it’s fitting that our final beach trip was to the most southern sea island in the chain, Amelia Island, Florida.
Our destination was The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island. This beautiful resort is the perfect setting for a family vacation and caters to children with customized activities and experiences.
Eloise lives up to her name and loves staying at hotels. Some of her highlights were playing with new friends at the pool; talking to the resort’s macaw, Amelia; attending a yummy ice cream social; getting treasure from a real pirate; and sending her stuffed koala bear on a grand adventure.
Mom and Dad got to sneak away for dinner at our favorite French spot in Fernandina Beach, Le Clos.

The weekend was capped off with a fun beach bash complete with band, games and face painting.
