This is a little girl ready for bed.
On the pillow she lays her head.
Wrap the covers around her tight,
And that’s the way she spends the night.
Morning comes.
She opens her eyes
and off, with a toss,
the cover flies.
This weekend, we transformed Eloise’s nursery into her big girl room. The timing seemed right as we prepare for her upcoming third birthday.
I loved the blush colors and bunny theme of her nursery, so we repurposed some of the furnishings and artwork while adding in new pieces, including a petal pink upholstered bed and linens from Restoration Hardware Baby and Child. The bedside tables are from Strobler Home Furnishings and the pastel pink lamps are by Dimond Lighting.
There was also room for this beautiful set of Madame Alexander Wizard of Oz collectible dolls that represent a story of courage and self reliance that has always been meaningful to me and hopefully will inspire Eloise.
Our big girl is very excited about her new space and couldn’t wait to take a few inaugural jumps on the bed.
While I am going to miss rocking together in the glider before bedtime, I look forward to goodnight girl talk and all of the slumber parties ahead.
WOW! What a very lucky little girl Eloise is….enjoy your new room sweetie as I see you already are!
