Our family had a unique experience over the weekend visiting Twin Creek Lavender Farms in Williamston, SC. This family farm has been operating for 100 years and added lavender to its repertoire a few years ago offering the following varieties: Grosso, Grosso Bleu, Royal Velvet, Violet Intrigue, Melissa and Provence.
During this socially distanced summer, an outdoor family outing is a great way to make some family memories. We packed a picnic lunch and sat in the field before grabbing scissors to cut our own lavender, which smelled just as nice as it looked.
Eloise especially enjoyed making her own bouquet that she wanted to display in her room.
