“Spring: a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be” – Anonymous
The first week of spring has ushered in warmer weather, blooming flowers and so much pollen (at least in South Carolina). It was also spring break, so our family headed to Sea Island, Georgia, for a stay at The Cloister.
There was so much for our family to do even when the weather didn’t feel very springlike. We rented bikes to explore the area, took a pony ride at Frederica Stables, bowled at Sea Strike Lanes, and dined at many of the resorts restaurants.
When the sun came out, we made our way to the Cloister’s Beach Club to swim in the heated pool, walk along the beach and play on the beachside playground.
A highlight of the trip was a date night with our big girl at The Lodge and watching the sunset bagpiper- the perfect way to end our stay. While traveling with little ones is never a true vacation for mom and dad having uninterrupted time together as a family is so important to reset and refocus.
If you are packing your bags for spring break, here are some swimsuit and coverup options for Mommy and mini.
We have a busy spring ahead celebrating birthdays, Easter and a move into our new home, so I’m very grateful for this special week and getting to stop and smell the flowers with my little lovelies.
