A Lovely 6th Celebration of Cartwheels & Cones

“When I was One,
I had just begun.
When I was Two,
I was nearly new.
When I was Three
I was hardly me.
When I was Four,
I was not much more.
When I was Five,
I was just alive.
But now I am Six,
I’m as clever as clever,
So I think I’ll be six now for ever and ever.” – A.A. Milne

Our Little Lovely, Eloise, turned six this week, and we’ve had so much fun celebrating her to the fullest. From a birthday family breakfast to a spirited school day and popsicle party with her class to dinner with friends and cheering under the Friday night lights, it was the best day for our birthday girl.

The fun continued with her party day incorporating two of her favorite things, cartwheels and cones. Pam Boggs brought her Action Tumble Cheer skills to guide the girls through a mini clinic in the front yard followed by some yummy ice cream served from the Sweet Pea’s Ice Cream truck.

The talented Erica Pye of Pye Papers brought the theme to life with her creative invitation design, which also served as inspiration for the welcome chalkboard sign by Wright Lettering; the gorgeous cake by Christie Richardson of The Southern Gourmet, who always makes birthday cakes memorable and delicious; and pretty cookies by Liz Craft of Crafted.Cookies.

The decor highlight was definitely the bright and whimsical ice cream balloon garland by Rainbow and Sprinkles Balloons, a new local business started by two friends who make the magic with their creative ideas.

Our big girl (and her little sis) had the time of her life with her girlfriends and we’re so excited to watch her grow, learn and shine her light this year.
