A Lovely Little Shopping…

Little Lovely has become my favorite shopping partner. At this stage, she is able to sit up well and enjoys looking at pretty, colorful things, but she isn’t into everything yet, so shopping is a fun outing. Today we popped into a few stores along Devine Street.

First we checked out the big April sale at Little Lambs & Ivy. Throughout the month, the store is highlighting certain sale days for discounts on specific items. Today is “Pink Day,” and anything with even a touch of pink is 20% off. We found the most adorable white and pink bonnet by The Beaufort Bonnet Company for Eloise, which will keep the sun off of her lovely little face all summer.  Next we stopped in Gibsons on Devine where I was pleased to see a section of unique men’s gifts as we were looking for a graduation present.

Continuing down Devine, we strolled by one of my favorite pink stucco buildings housing the charming Non(e)such. This elegant shop offers fine china, gifts, jewelry and antiques, and while Little Lovely does pretty well at seven months old, I didn’t want to press my luck by taking her inside.  Lastly we visited local boutique, Just the Thing, which is having a 25% off flash sale on dresses this weekend if you’re looking for something to wear to spring events.

True to the saying, “shop ’til you drop,” Eloise was ready to get home for a nap, so we didn’t make it down to LaRoque today, but I always admire the vivid and whimsical collections for both mommy and mini.

Happy shopping!
